Product Reviews for Alesis DM5 Drum Module Feature: No accessories unless the manual is one. Quality: Minw has been a LEMON from day one and has cost me extra money, extra time, and stage embarassment! Value: Don't waste your money. It will cost you more as soon as warranty is out if not before! Desirability: Sorry! Sound: Some useful sounds but most are really not useful hen set up good professional sounds. Ease of Use: If mine would work it might be ok. The "Value" dial is junk. It jumps forward, backward, won't stay on your selection, it's like it just goes where it wants. Support: BEWARE! Seems they change service centers like socks. They sent me to one, which is now not connected to them, in TX and I'm in OK. Cost me $100 plus, time, travel, lose of use just to have they tell me no problem found. It has problem 2 or 3 times out of five when turned on! Manufacture say's take it to another of their NOW service center. Sure right! For another $100 plus to hear them say no problem found. They should be with me when on stage and the unit just freezes or just quits! Overall: Looking for another competitors product now. But I'm pretty gun shy after this has cost me approximately $250 over the purchase price of $400. Contact me if you want the whole story!
