Product Reviews for GHS Boomers Guitar Strings (TNT) Quality: they sound great and they feel great, but they seem to pop faster than i would like...however, i've tried dean markley blue steels and those popped in less than a week, and d'addarios pop at any moment...these have lasted me about 3 weeks on average, which isn't great, but better than what i'm used to Value: great sound + great price = great value Sound: the sound from these strings is amazing...the heavy bottom strings give you a completely crunchable tone and the light top strings give you the ability to have soaring, screaming leads and solos Ease of Use: ofcourse these strings are gonna be tough for beginners to get used to, and it will take some adjusting for those switching from lighter gauges...but it's worth it...
