Product Reviews for Ion Audio iDP01 2-Drum Pad Expansion Kit with Hardware Feature: You can create different "drum sets" and create different sounds for each of the pads. I owned the original Ion, which comes with 5 pads, the additional 2 for a total of 7 percussion choices. Quality: Came in excellent condition. Value: Hey, I'm no drum expert - just wanted to play along with music and "beat on my drum all day" kind of guy. If that's who you are, you can't beat this item! Desirability: It looks good. You have to put up with wires, but that's expected. Sound: Sound also depends on you amp or receiver. I plugged mine into 38 watt and the output is fine. You can also program each pad to give different outputs of volume. I set mine between 80 - 95 for a good bang. Support: I haven't needed any support (yet?). Overall: I'll keep this product for awhile. It meets my musical needs. I don't plan to advance to a higher level in drum playing.
