Product Reviews for Korg ES1MKII Electribe S Rhythm Production Sampler Feature: I love to totally muck up my samples and then resample and muck up again! The effects are top notch. And the presets are for the most part very usable (but who uses presets?). Quality: The box has a very sturdy and solid feel to it. Knobs feel a little weak, but I've tweaked the heck of them with no problems. Value: For a sampling beatbox, this is about as good as it gets! Rolands SP 202 is similar, but the crunchy sounds I get out of the Korg are killer! Desirability: The MKII version looks so much better then the ol "green one".... Sound: Resolution is not top notch, but I like the crunchy sound. Support: n/a Overall: I know there is software out that can do more than the box and does it easier. But when you start mucking with the nobs and playing with the beats on the fly it freakin rocks!
