Product Reviews for MXR M151 Doubleshot Distortion Pedal Feature: Came with its own adapter--- I love MXR pedals! The EQ is solid, but I would recommend buying the MXR 10 band EQ to fine tune this distortion (or if you have another 10+ band EQ, etc) Quality: Just like everyone else said on here. Its VERY HIGH QUALITY; bullet proof construction. (well not really, but you know what i mean) Value: You get what you pay for. This is a very high quality pedal. And it ain't cheap either! Desirability: I just about bought this pedal on impulse because IT IS MXR's new Distortion Pedal! Its badass!!! Sound: This is the only review you need to read. The 1st distortion is best for leads. Not as good as a Zoom Tri Metal, but its a very good quality distortion sound. The 2nd distortion is good for really chunky rythm and if you have a 7 string warlock--- this distortion will really take advantage of such a low register guitar--- anotherwords the 2nd distortion is one of the heaviest and best quality distortions you can buy. (especially if you like SLOW & HEAVY riffs) Support: Haven't had to use them but I bet they're great Overall: Randy Rhoads used MXR 104 distortion --- and now MXR has made their new distortion pedal---Need I say more? But, never believe nothin from nobody, so try it out at your local music shop before you order online (for cheaper!) like I did. The only reason the pedal doesn't get a 10, is because nothins perfect: 9 is usually as good as it gets.
