Product Reviews for Re'an RPM48S 48-Point Balanced Patchbay
Feature: It has all the features that a patch panel needs to have. You can use each pair normalled, half-normalled, or completely isolated.
Quality: The PCBs are mounted to the case with plastic nuts which do not get tight enough to reliably hold them in place. They constantly work loose and it is extremely annoying, especially since the case has no bottom to it which allows the PCBs to tilt downward once they do get loose. The jacks themselves are also plastic.
Value: There are far better units available at comparable prices.
Sound: It seems transparent enough that I don't notice it's in the signal path.
Support: Never used it.
Overall: I hate this thing. I finally got fed up with the PCBs constantly coming loose and the generallly poor craftsmanship of it and bought a Behringer UltraPatch Pro which is ten times better than this Re'an.
