Product Reviews for Sennheiser HD212 Pro Closed Headphones
Feature: They're a very low end "pro" item. Sennheiser calls them "semi-circumarual" -- I call them supra-aral (i.e. they sit on your ears, not around them). They're not nearly as comfortable as the HD590 (which is many times the price). Cord enters both ear pieces.
Quality: This is my one serious complaint: they're mostly made of cheap plastic parts that feel like they could be broken easily. If you're willing to baby them, then these could be considered a good value because the sound is pretty good for the money.
Sound: The sound is quite good for the price. Sounds fairly flat to me. Voices sound natural. Good sense of presence. I haven't tried a wide variety of styles of music yet. Isolation from the room is fair.
Support: I don't know anything about their support.
Overall: If you need sealed headphones and only have $50 these sound pretty good. If you're going to wear them alot or treat them rough, spend more money and get something more comfortable and/or rugged.
