Product Reviews for Taylor Big Baby Acoustic Guitar (with Gig Bag) Feature: It is an acoustic guitar- there are no extras with a standard flat top. Quality: Would love to own this guitar with a sharp finish. It has a rather plain satin finish. Sound: The sound of this instrument is exceptional. I was very pleased with this guitar. I have been playing for many years. I own Gibson, Fender, and Yamaha guitars. I feel this little Taylor has sound that rivals my Gibson J50. I really like the size of the guitar- it is light and easy to use. The tonal quality and sound "knocked my socks off" when I first tuned it and played it. Then I tried to record some songs with it where I had to pick out a lead in the middle of the song- it was amazing. The only thing I would like to improve is the looks of the instument. It is rather plain looking, but then, you only pay $400. for it. I think Taylor could doll the Big Baby up somewhat and sell it for a much higher price. The old saying of don't judge a book by its cover surely applies to this guitar. If looks aren't paramount with you, this is a real deal. Support: I have never had to make a complaint, but the Taylor company answers email punctually.
